May 24: Happy 75th Birthday Bob Dylan

bob dylan 2015

Crimson flames tied through my ears
Rollin’ high and mighty traps
Pounced with fire on flaming roads
Using ideas as my maps
“We’ll meet on edges, soon,” said I
Proud ’neath heated brow
Ah, but I was so much older then
I’m younger than that now

he not busy being born is busy dying

Bob Dylan, the single most important artist in the history of popular music, is 75 years old today Tuesday, May 24.

  1. “You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.”

Today feels like the 60s all over again. Rebellion throughout the country over immigration over vaccination over corrupt campaign-finance laws. Over the food supply,, Pollution in the air, in the water. The people are waking up. Just like we did in the 60s.

  2. Happy birthday bob, well what can you say?its all been said before, keep on rockin……

  3. Reading all the links you put up it’s almost overwhelming! Your site is tremendous and I check it out everyday, so I very much appreciate it. I’ll be going to a Bob Dylan tribute tonight where 40 artists will be performing 40 different Dylan songs, so it should be a good celebration. Thanks again for all you guys do!

  4. A very fitting tribute, Egil, today being Bob’s 75th birthday. AllDylan is, to my mind, the best of Expecting Rain. Congrats to Bob, and to you, and to us celebrating fans all.
