  1. I must say I’m disappointed Johnny Winter isn’t included in any of the lists with his version of Highway 61 from Second Winter, or Like A Rolling Stone which can be found on YouTube.

Also think Richie Havens version of License to Kill should be somewhere in here. It’s possible those old “dinosaur” artists are not in line with Paste’s tastes. (Pardon the play on words, I can’t help myself).

  2. Pretty Good List. Highlights include: The Band, Jason & The Schorchers, and P.J. Harvey. I like P.J.’s the very Best. Beck’s version should NOT even be here. Pretty bad version of an excellent tune. O.K. down to the last 9. I guess that your not going to give Sandy Denny’s version with Fairport Convention, as well as solo, of I’ll Keep It With Mine. NICO over Sandy Denny? NOT EVEN CLOSE! Still, the list is much fun. Maybe I’m taking your selections too seriously. What would Dylan Say? Good Work, though I don’t agree. Just my Humble opinion. Peace Be With You! Thanks so very Much for the nice selection of Killer Tunes! sincerely, SMRZ!!
