We “knew“ he had to play the standard” setlist tonight, but he took us by surprise yet again. This might mean that  a new standard setlist is busy being born. Only two changes from the Stavern show; Watching the River Flow opens (Most Likely You Go.. opened @ Stavern) and Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum replaced “Blind Willie McTell” at #11.

It was a wonderful evening @ Bendiksbukta, great area, not too much people & good festival logistics. All these things were bad at Stavernfestivalen. But most important off course; the show was in a different league. Almost every song performance was better than last shows performances, even the brilliant Stavern-version of “Girl From The North Country” was slightly better @ Bendiksbukta.

1	Watching The River Flow	3/6. I was totally convinced that we were gonna get “Things Have Changed”, so this was a real surprise indeed. Fast, a bit rusty & OK vocal.	4/6
2	Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right	4/6. Better vocal performance than @ Stavern, better playing by the band as well. Solid version of a song with much higher potential (This could grow into a “North Country” performance down the road somewhere)	5/6
3	Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues	5/6. Again a nice Tom Thumb. a bit tighter & better Vocal than @ Stavern.	5/6
4	To Ramona	4/6. Way better performance than Stavern, but the closing harmonica solo was disappointing.	4/6
5	The Levee’s Gonna Break	5/6. Dylan sits back (OK Vocal) and lets the band (especially Charlie Sexton) shine on this hard shuffleblues.	5/6
6	Shelter From The Storm	5/6. Another solid Shelter, again (as yesterday) ->nice harmonica and some wonderful vocal.	6/6
7	Cry A While	4/6. Another song were Sexton is allowed to shine. Solid stuff, OK Vocal.	4/6
8	Girl Of The North Country	6/6. FANTASTIC again. Could someone PLEASE upload a video with great sound on youtube ? Is that too much to ask ? (audio version embedded further down in this post)	6/6
9	Summer Days	4/6. Solid & very much like the Stavern performance.	4/6
10	Desolation Row	5/6. Better & tighter band and better vocal than Stavern. Nice harmonica solo… and interesting piano parts from our man 🙂	5/6
11	Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum	3/6. OK band, OK Vocal… This one didn’t really fly. We would rather have Blind Willie anytime.	5/6
12	Lonesome Day Blues	5/6. Dylan let’s his band shine again. Two great guitar solos from Sexton.	5/6
13	A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall	5/6. Way much better than the lousy Stavern performance. Good (sometimes GREAT) vocal.	5/6
14	Thunder On The Mountain	5/6. Another band song. both Sexton & Kimball gets a couple of nods.. great solos from both of them. Good Vocal.	5/6
15	Ballad Of A Thin Man	5/6. Good & sometimes GREAT vocal. Nice harmonica solos (but a bit weaker than at Stavern). Solid band performance.	6/6
16	All Along The Watchtower	3/6. Bad vocal (too much mumbling), OK band.	5/6
