  1. hi there many thanks on posting a wonderful concert just a shame that Like A Rolling Stone cuts off half way
through. I wondered if you had or knew of a alternative audio source of the song from the show ?
    yours faithfully TREV

    1. hi mate the complete show is on you tube you can get a free program on the internet to download the audio from you tube into mp3 format
on to your computer. hope that helps

  2. I couldn’t pull up the videos/music on my laptop, but I must say I believe from the mid-70s to the early ’80s was when Dylan was typically in the best voice. I’m excited to hear that he is expected to soon release live stuff from his gospel period and Reynaldo & Clara, not to mention extra stuff from Blood on the Tracks. I wore out my vinyl version of BOTT, then purchased it on 8-track and later on CD. Now I’ll get to chip in for an expanded version!!

    1. On the fourth attempt the links emerged so i could give this stuff a listen. Love this live version of Tangled Up In Blue! Thanks.

  3. I was at this concert. It was my birthday…I was 23 that day. Listening to it today, on my 61st birthday…it just makes me smile

      1. Not sure what luck had to do with it. I bought the ticket for myself. I always liked the 78 tour. I was always surprised at how the Budokan album was dismissed by so many fans and critics. I was able to find a 3 disc bootleg, called The 1978 World Tour Anthology. Nice song selection but the sound quality is quite horrible.

    1. I was at the Oakland show that year . . . I was 21 then and I’m 60 now. I was disappointed at the time (because I saw the ’74 Oakland show) but I’ve turned around 180 degrees in the years since. Charlotte, NC 12/10/78 is one of my all-time favorite Dylan boots. Is this show new to circulation?

  4. I would have liked to be there….
He did not come to The Netherlands until a couple of years later…

    1. Thanks for commenting Hilda,
