I’m A Fool To Want You:

Egil Hallgeir
1 Things Have Changed 4/6. Great start.. Not a surprise, tight band, good vocal.. 4
2 She Belongs To Me 4/6. Solid version. Vocal lacking a bit punch. 4
3 Beyond Here Lies Nothin’ 5/6 Lovely performance. Dylan more alive, band rising.. Sexton shining 4
4 The Night We Called It A Day 5/6 Great performance overall. AND a debut!! 4
5 Duquesne Whistle 3/6 Dylan lacking energy, band performing good. 5
6 Why Try To Change Me 4/6 Another debut!! (Shadows) Lively Dylan, good band. Exciting. 4
7 Pay In Blood 4/6 Solid PIB.
.. another politician pumping out the piss.. indeed.
5
8 I’m A Fool To Want You 5/6 The Shadows material are great so far. Band & Bobby shining. 4
9 Tangled Up In Blue 5/6 Great 2015 version of TUIB! Lovely. Bob’s vocal loosing his edge last ~3min.. 5
10 High Water (For Charley Patton) 4/6 Slow start.. nice finish. 5
11 Full Moon and Empty Arms 4/6 Nice perfomance. Again Shadows material shining. 4
12 Early Roman Kings 3/6 Jeeze.. bright lights on stage. OK performance of an OK song.
Some nice licks from Sexton.
5
13 Come Rain or Come Shine 3/6 (shadows outtake). Surprise, another debut.. short.. BUT this time neither the band nor Dylan convinced me.
My initial grade was 2.. but listening to the audio today, it sounds better.
5
14 Spirit On The Water 3/4 Solid, good, yes, .. but.. 5
15 Scarlet Town 6/6 Here we are!! FANTASTIC version! Crisp vocal.. no shit. Band shining. They really nailed this one.
Hallelujah!

16 All Or Nothing At All 3/6 (Shadows outtake) Yet another debut!  But again didn’t convince me. 4
17 Long And Wasted Years 4/6 Can’t go wrong on this one. Not a Great LAWY, but still.. 5
18 Autumn Leaves 6/6 WONDERFUL version. Everthing clicked, band, vocal, audience.. my body started shaking..
Best performance today.
6
19 Blowin’ In The Wind 4/6 Solid.. as always. 5
20 Love Sick 5/6 Slow start (3/6), but grew to a spectacular finish. Great arrangement.. Brilliant band performance.
