You gotta stick it out though. That’s all there really is at the end of the line in this business. B.B. King and Chuck Berry are still working. Little Richard is as good now as he was then.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_message message_box_color=”mulled_wine” icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-quote-left”]During the next month a number of new guitarists were auditioned – live on stage! John Staeheley (August 12-18), Steve Bruton (August 19-29), Miles Joseph (August 31-September 3), Steve Ripley (September 4-9), and César Diaz (September 11-12) were all given this trial.
Despite all this chaos, late 1990 turned out to be not bad at all; although not as consistently impressive as the first half of the year, it certainly shook off the ‘Horrible Tour’ tag. Much like the previous year, the last leg of 1990’s touring was looser and full of surprises and successes.

… Most of all, I think, the wondrous music this team is creating at this show is a reflection of the mind-state of the singer/rhythm guitarist/bandleader/harmonica player – Bob Dylan, the author of this magnificent work of accidental art, this recording which stops time and leaves me as a listener breathless and thrilled, over and over again.
