John Robert Cocker OBE (born 20th May 1944– died 22nd Dec 2014) — known as Joe Cocker — was an English rock and blues singer, who came to popularity in the 1960s, and is known for his gritty voice, his spasmodic body movement in performance and his cover versions of popular songs, particularly those of The Beatles.
He covered many songs by Bob Dylan, here are those I managed to find today:
Seven Days, Live with Ron Wood and Eric Clapton (1983):
Dear Landlord 1970 (?):
I Shall be released, Woodstock 1969 (audio):
Watching the river flow with Eric Clapton 1983:
Dignity, October 15, 1996 Baden-Baden,Germany (dignity starts at about 37:40):
Just like a woman (audio) from the album A Little Help From My Friends:
Catfish (Audio, Songwriters: Bob Dylan and Jacques Levy)
Joe Cocker & Leon Russell – Girl From The North Country (Audio, 1970):
Catfish (live audio, Tower Theater, Philadelphia, PA. May 1st 1976):
Ring Them Bells, taken from Hymn For My Soul, 2007 (audio):

When Joe Cocker passed away in 2014 the light that was shining from the Mad Dog Ranch went out. He had passed his last years in Crawford. Colorado. Those of us who live in the Southwestern part of our state, from Grand Junction to Ridgeway and Paonia to Telluride, were honored that he chose to settle here in the small ranching community of Crawford. Though he was best known as a rocker, he could also knock down a beautiful ballad. His version of “Just like a Woman” is a beautiful example. Thanks for posting this retrospective look at a great artist who sang Bobby’s songs so well.
What sad news, Joe was one of the greatest singers of all time. He loved Bob Dylans songs and covered many of them over the years. I shall be released was probaly my favourite of his Dylan versions.
R.I.P Joe a true legend.
That is sad news…our loss. Wow, undeniably one of the greatest singers. Joe Cocker’s songs were just full of compassion. Like Elvis, he took all those songs and made them his. I love his earliest albums, and also later ones. “Organic” is one of my favorites. That concert you have posted from Baden-Baden is killer…what a band he has with him…really enjoying that right now. The music will live on forever. Thank you, Joe. God Bless You.
