because he is a good man with feelings and cares about folks he respects and cares for do not people get that yet after all these many years he is a kind and humble person spiritual and shy very polite just has a clogged BS filter .i can tell you at 65 my BS filter is pretty clogged as well !
Mary Ellen, nice comment – For me the wonderful thing about Dylan’s clogged filter is that he gets enough of the essence of what is trapped to put it in the perspective poetry that gives sensitive insight into the BS; perhaps his writing unclogs his filter allowing even more BS of different kinds to clog it. I don’t know/think that this applies universally to all of his work – my take on it- just that which seems introspective for him and as a reaction to BS.
