I mostly concur with Jurek’s Sinatra comment. Love hearing assorted versions of these great tunes, but one here and one there would be the way I would recommend their distribution — as in Blood In My Eyes and Tomorrow Night and a few others. Anyway, that’s what I could have told you.
The shows between 1995 and 2003 are all exceptionally good. I listen a lot to these performances during this period. His interpretations of these times are fantastic and his spirit for experiments was at the top. Musically he invented many songs completely new.
By the way: I have problems with his new Sinatra style. The songs are wonderful and he does a great job, but I don’t like it that much. I am a too conservative Dylan fan.
