As a precursor of things to come, Winston Watson is the sole beatmaster tonight. Watson does not attempt anything too ambitious, although Dylan
does attempt “Pretty Peggy-0” and “Queen Jane Approximately” to test his mettle.

Fantastic recording, an incredible, jaw-drop performance.. ..not to be missed’. The show kicks off with a blistering fast Jokerman, but Bob doesn’t miss a beat. The words just flow. Following is one of the best ever performances of Señor. More passion than the Street Legal version. I could go on like this about every single song from this magical night. The final summation of this show is that Bob is not merely singing tonight… he’s painting a beautiful portrait. This is the painting that you need to represent 1994.

They’re selling postcards of the hanging
They’re painting the passports brown
The beauty parlor is filled with sailors
The circus is in town
Here comes the blind commissioner
They’ve got him in a trance
One hand is tied to the tight-rope walker
The other is in his pants
And the riot squad they’re restless
They need somewhere to go
As Lady and I look out tonight
